Ever since it landed with a resounding thump on the trade counters of the UK’s leading builders’ merchants over thirty-five years ago, Professional Builder has been unrivalled as the leading problem-solving magazine for active tradesmen. Today, this unique method of distribution extends to more than 2,700 major outlets, with key decision makers being reached and influenced at the very point of purchase.
Key to the success of the journal has been the continuity of both the editorial and sales teams, who have in excess of 75 years’ experience between them in this sector of the construction industry. It has equipped them to offer well-informed advice on installation best practice, onsite evaluations of new launches, as well as helpful advice on campaign strategies. Professional guidance on running a small business, latest Health and Safety regulations, Building Standards updates, together with an eclectic mix of competitions, giveaways and ‘off the wall’ features, all contribute to make the journal a must pick up for those at the sharp end.
In addition to the printed version, which is published 11 times annually, the Professional Builder brand also incorporates www.probuildermag.co.uk which provides an outlet for up to the minute industry news, exclusive content in the form of technical articles and competitions and bespoke video reviews from our in-house digital media team. A weekly newsletter, mailed to around 20,000 recipients, complements the online content and opens up the brand to those who may not be frequent visitors to a builders’ merchant.
